ELS is hiring for the position of Group Sales Coordinator in Plano, TX.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position Interacts with customers and takes reservations, offers extended stays, and informs customers of the specials for certain properties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible to the rally goals and sales targets.
• To achieve the sales goals as outlined for the Group and Rally organization.
• Curates Sales Hot List and Prospect list in Salesforce for follow up.
• Answer incoming customer telephone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
• Returning Customer Voicemails promptly and professionally
• Is thorough and complete with contracts and adheres to contract policies
• Respond effectively and accurately to customer inquiries in a sincere, courteous, and professional manner by remaining knowledgeable of company services and policies.
• Respond to customer needs, questions, or problems in an efficient and thorough manner.
• Demonstrate the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems.
• Identifies prospects for groups & special events and moves through sales cycle by following steps of sales process.
• Understands and can provide expert information on properties and the event booking process.
• Coordinates onsite contact with properties and customers for day of event.
• Responsible for writing and managing contracts for all events
• Understands and is knowledgeable of properties and processes.
• Responsible for corporate reporting to his/her manager.
• The work week is Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM unless otherwise approved by Manager.
• Ensure integrity of customer records by verifying and accurately entering customer information and completing necessary paperwork

• Education and/or Experience - Education and/or Experience – High school diploma and 1 -2 year’s experience in a sales environment required.
• Language Skills -Ability to read, analyze and interpret information. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Excellent communicator on phone, via email, and in-person. Able to present benefits of products and close the sale.
• Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make suggestions for change based on those conclusions. Excellent prospecting and business development skills.
• Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, you should have Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word programs, Office 365, Email, and cloud-based software sales programs.
• Other Skills and Abilities - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, co-workers, and managers. Possess excellent organization and project management skills, leadership skills as well as the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to present benefits of products and close the sale. Team oriented attitude. Self-motivator and able to manage several different tasks at a time.
